So…one of the shelters downtown Dallas had 38 confirmed COVID19 cases…all of which were considered “asymptomatic“, they isolated 171 of them at an undisclosed hotel.
The shelter I’m working is also located Downtown Dallas. We have about 350 residents daily. We have medical complaints on a daily basis. Our “paramedics” are trained to deny them medical attention if they have no symptoms.
Although, most homeless people downtown frequent multiple shelters per day for different reasons. It is quite possible that they may have come in contact with the 171 that are isolated. Why not quarantine them ALL??? In every shelter downtown.
The City of Dallas SUCKS that’s why! They are running these shelters and profiting from it with little to no care about what is actually going on inside of them! Not to mention, the people who volunteer/work here are possibly being exposed.

This is not a 24/7 shelter. This shelter and most shelters are on a schedule. The one I am “managing” and I use that word very loosely…allow them to arrive at 5:00pm, lights out at 10:00pm, lights on at 6:00am and they have to be OUT at 7:00am…my question is WHERE TF are they going?!?! I will tell you…they are going to get COVID19 and bringing that mofo right back in here everyday exposing more and more people! This shit is sick!!! Inhumane!!!! Disgusting!!! Absurd!!!
They are literally denying them access to the hospitals because they have no symptoms, however, the 38 that tested positive were all asymptomatic!!! WTF!?! Smh!!! Why wouldn’t you test EVERY DAMN BODY!!!?! Shits beyond me…#MyRant
